Segundo o cirurgião plástico Sérgio Gradowski, o inverno é realmente mais indicado: “o cuidado com o pós operatório é tão importante quanto a cirurgia em si. Evitar se expor ao sol, tomar os medicamentos prescritos pelo médico e não fazer esforço físico são alguns dos cuidados que deve-se ter após uma cirurgia”.
Portanto, a baixa exposição ao sol é um dos atrativos do inverno para quem vai realizar procedimentos estéticos, tanto cirúrgicos quanto aqueles menos agressivos.
As operações faciais como blefaroplastia (pálpebra), otoplastia (orelha de abano) e rinoplastia (nariz) são mais seguras no inverno por causa do período de recuperação.
A baixa incidência de raios solares é fundamental para uma boa cicatrização. Intervenções cirúrgicas como lipoaspiração, que necessitam do uso de cintas modeladoras, que são mais toleradas em baixas temperaturas. Nas temperaturas amenas, a área do edema tende a ser menos intensa e malhas e curativos são menos visíveis com casacos e roupas mais largas.
Segundo o Dr Gradowski, tomando os cuidados necessários, em qualquer estação pode-se realizar uma cirurgia plástica e alcançar seus objetivos – porém o inverno acaba sendo mais confortável.
