O que dizer de um desfile que coloca na passarela mulheres cheias de curvas em calças justas e blusas que destacam os seios volumosos?
Foi o exatamente o que a estilista Elena Miroglio exibiu nesta quarta (24) durante a Semana de Moda de Milão, na Itália. Com manequins tamanho 46, as modelos desfilaram peças sensuais, num estilo inspirado em grandes divas de Hollywood.
Em entrevista à agência de notícias AFP, Elena explicou o conceito.
- O objetivo da marca é ajudar mulheres reais a se sentirem confiantes e em paz com elas mesmas. É importante que os estilistas mostrem um tipo diferente de beleza, tanto no comércio como na imprensa.
A coleção surge num momento em que borbulham as discussões sobre o peso das modelos. Desde 2006, o assunto ganhou peso no mundo da moda, após a morte da modelo brasileira Ana Carolina Reston por anorexia. Ela pesava apenas 40 quilos.
No último dia 9, uma reunião do Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), nos Estados Unidos, determinou que jovens com menos de 16 anos não poderão mais desfilar. Isso porque modelos muito novas costumam ser ainda mais magras, o que pressiona outras moças a emagrecer de forma pouco saudável.
