Famosa roupa do século 14, o corselete ajudava a modelar o corpo feminino, tornando a cintura mais fina.
A peça passou por corpos famosos como as rainhas Carlota Joaquina, Elizabeth e Maria Antonieta. Depois da Segunda Guerra Mundial, ele ganhou notoriedade, graças às criações de Christian Dior, que valorizavam as formas do busto e cintura fina… Tudo isso, às custas de muito desconforto.
Coco Chanel até libertou as mulheres do aperto, mas ao longo das décadas sempre alguém resgatou a peça.
Como no início dos anos 90, quando o fetichismo estava em alta e estilistas como Versace e Jean-Paul Gaultier lançaram espartilhos futuristas para serem usados como roupa e não lingerie.
Gaultier, por exemplo, criou um corselete exclusivo para Madonna durante a turnê Blond Ambition, em 1990, um ícone da época.
Passadas mais algumas décadas, a peça continua em voga e veste novas “rainhas”, de outros segmentos: Britney Spears, Lady GaGa, Victoria Beckham são alguns nomes que usam a peça de forma diferenciada, mas não menos chamativa, sexy e original.
A estilista carioca Patrícia Vergara é uma das adeptas dessa moda e cria roupas em que o corselete é protagonista, indo desde um gênero mais romântico até casual (com estampas florais e cores claras, para ser usado preferencialmente durante o dia).
É ela quem dá algumas dicas pra quem também quer aderir ao visual:
- Ele pode ser usado para diminuir medidas?
Patrícia Vergara – O corselete é para ser usado como adorno e não para quem deseja perder centímetros radicalmente. Uma boa modelagem e uma firme estrutura já proporcionam à mulher uma postura correta.
- Existe idade, peso ou alguma característica que a mulher deve ter para usá-lo?
Patrícia – Não. A peça é feita pra todas, e o corselete deve ser sob medida. Tem que ficar perfeito no corpo.
- Qual a diferença entre corselete e espartilho?
Patrícia – O espartilho é usado por baixo e o corselete por cima da roupa.
- Existem cores e estampas para cada estação?
Patrícia – Nos dias mais quentes, os tons claros e florais são sempre bem-vindos. No momento, estão em evidência o nude e os tons rosados. O preto também é muito procurado aqui no ateliê, é elegantíssimo e as mulheres têm a sensação de estarem mais magras.
- Com que peças ele pode ser combinado?
Patrícia – O corselete pode ser usado com um jeans, pois fica bem moderno e descontraído. Para a noite, podemos usar cores fortes e até ousar com brilhos e bordados. Com saias, a mulher, sem dúvida, fica mais feminina.
