As mulheres se destacam cada vez mais na produção de conteúdos coletivos e despontam como formadoras de opinião nas redes sociais.
Segundo dados levantados pelo eMarketer, especializado em pesquisas e estatísticas de Marketing online, as mulheres estão dominando a rede. Divulgada em agosto do ano passado, a pesquisa revela que, com exceção de duas plataformas – a digg e o YouPorn – elas são maioria em todas as redes sociais. No Twitter e no Facebook, elas são 57% dos usuários. No Myspace, chegam a 64%.
As redes sociais são, hoje, mais do que um meio de manter amigos em contato, divulgar e receber informações, compartilhar fotografias ou atuar em comunidades. Por trás das suas funções diretas e aparentes, as plataformas guardam um atrativo secundário: o poder de influência.
‘Comunicação e poder sempre andaram lado a lado. Quem tem mais alcance, mais audiência, mais eco, tem mais valor no mercado da mídia’, diz Rosana Hermann – blogueira há quase uma década, com 50 mil seguidores do Twitter.
E como as mulheres se relacionam com estas redes? Liliane Ferrari, blogueira corporativa, arrisca um palpite: ‘hoje, ao invés de você virar pra sua amiga e simplesmente dizer ‘adorei esse batom’, a gente tuita, faz post, tira foto e dá nome aos bois’, explica. Dessa forma, muitas empresas ficam de olho no potencial de influência que estas mulheres trazem às marcas.
