Unhas bem feitas e lindas não são privilégio de poucas. As unhas postiças, badaladas nos salões de beleza, são adotadas por aquelas que têm unhas fracas ou não conseguem parar de roê-las. Entre as vantagens, está a da durabilidade do esmalte. E com técnicas que as deixam mais naturais, passam despercebidas nas mãos.
São muitos os tipos: unhas de porcelana, silicone, acrigel e fibra. Elas diferem no método e nos materiais utilizados. E até nas unhas há moda. “As unhas de acrigel estão em alta”, diz a manicure Andrea Azevedo, do salão Verônicas – responsável pelas unhas da atriz Cleo Pires para a Playboy, feitas do material.
Aplicação varia para cada tipo de unha
No caso da acrigel, é colada uma base de plástico na unha. “Antes de aplicar o gel, coloca-se a prótese colada na unha, que vai ser nivelada pela manicure. Depois, as unhas recebem o gel especial, aplicado com um pincel. Depois, são levadas para uma cabine com raios ultravioleta”.
Também há a de fibra. “Essa é esculpida em cima da unha, não precisa colocar prótese. É usada uma fibra de vidro fina”, explica Andrea. E tem ainda a unha de porcelana. “A unha é moldada e por cima é colocado o gel. Não é colada como a acrigel”, diz a manicure Priscila Assis, da Ophicina do Cabelo. Ela garante que este método também não fica artificial.
Os cuidados com as mãos
Quando colocar uma unha postiça, observe as condições da sua unha. “Ela tem que estar saudável. Não pode estar fraca, dolorida, ou com algum tipo de doença”, diz Priscila. “E tem que deixar crescer um pouquinho. Se estiver pequena, a unha cai”, recomenda.
“Se a pessoa mexer muito na água, a unha tem chances de descolar e cair”, alerta Priscila. E nada de usar acetona. “O que a gente pede é para usar removedor de esmaltes. A acetona vai desmanchando a unha, amolecendo o gel”, explica Andrea. E entre as suas dicas para não quebrar as unhas postiças: “Ter cuidado na hora de fechar a porta, fechar o zíper da calça, e não ficar batendo com a unha na mesa”.
Na hora de tirar
“A postiça não destrói a unha natural. Só se a pessoa tenta arrancar sozinha. Aí, automaticamente, acaba puxando a unha de baixo, desfolhando”, diz Andrea.
Por isso, recorrer à manicure é o ideal. Elas usam ou lixas, ou um motor especial para a retirada. Priscila recomenda as primeiras, que são mais seguras – com o motor corre-se o risco de estragar a unha natural. Ela também indica alguns cuidados: “Se lixar muito, pode machucar as pessoas que têm unha muito sensível”, explica.
Tempo de duração
Elas são duráveis, mas requerem cuidados. “A cada 15 dias tem que fazer manutenção da unha”, diz Priscila. As duas manicures afirmam não haver problemas serem usadas por muito tempo. “Conheço pessoas que têm unha postiça por toda a vida”, afirma Priscila.
Andrea recomenda o uso por seis meses, com as manutenções quinzenais. “Às pessoas que nunca tiveram, eu recomendo ficarem por seis meses, para a unha respirar. Depois desse tempo, a unha já está grande e na de acrigel, a prótese acaba saindo”. Ela garante que o uso das unhas postiças não causam problema para as naturais. “A unha também respira por baixo”, alega.
