Quanto custa: Cada sessão custa entre R$ 250 e R$ 500, mas as clínicas costumam fazer pacotes que barateiam o tratamento completo.
Tipos de laser: Há mais de um tipo de aparelho laser no mercado. Entre os mais comuns estão o Alexandrita, o Light Sheer e o Nd-Yag, que variam em sensibilidade e são usados de acordo com espessura do pelo e tom da pele. Para realizar o procedimento é necessário consultar um dermatologista.
Dor e incômodo: A dor varia de acordo com a sensibilidade de cada pessoa, mas, segundo especialistas, quem já faz depilação com cera consegue suportar sem sofrer muito. “Na escala de um a dez, a dor do laser pode chegar a seis”, diz o Dr. Abdo Salomão Jr, dermatologista. Depois de cada sessão a região pode ficar avermelhada, mas em geral melhora depois de um dia. Algumas pessoas sentem dor e incômodos também durantes os dias subsequentes à aplicação do laser.
Cuidados: Pacientes são orientados a não tomar sol no local pelo menos 30 dias antes e 15 dias após a aplicação. Do contrário podem aparecer manchas na pele. Métodos de depilação que arrancam os pelos – como cera, eletrólise e pinça – são desaconselhados entre as sessões de laser.
